CynthiaBATESPassed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday 9th February 2026, aged 79 years old. Loving wife to Alan, mum to Paul, Stephen and Hazel, mother-in-law to Louise, Sarah and Warren. Devoted grandma to Briar, Becca, Hannah, Bronte, Jess and Sam, and great-grandma to Archie and Rosa.
Funeral service to be held at Haltemprice Crematorium on Monday 9th March at 1:30pm.
As well as family flowers, we welcome you to bring them, as Cynthia loved flowers.
Donations may be left at the service, if desired, in aid of Dove House Hospice.
A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at Hullensians RUFC following the service.
